The short answer
An AI zombie hug video uses your reference photos to create an embrace between a survivor and the person who has turned. Choose Zombie Story for recognition, the embrace and the happy memory, or Zombie for a gradual transformation followed by a hug.
Before you create
- Use two portraits or one photo of both of you.
- Photo 2 turns into the zombie; in a shared photo, the person on the right turns.
- Vertical 9:16 by default. Choose the model, length and resolution before rendering.
- Generation requires credits and an available AI service.
What is the AI zombie hug?
The embrace is the emotional centre of the trend. The zombie still carries a familiar face, and the survivor chooses closeness instead of running away. It works as a small fictional scene about recognition and connection.
A clear, unfiltered face gives the AI a stronger reference. The aim is to retain the person’s recognisable features while changing their skin and the setting. AI can still alter details, so review the result before sharing it.
Who can you make it with?
This is a two-character story. Use a partner, friend, relative or your pet; a single-person portrait alone cannot tell the intended hug scene. Upload only photos you have permission to use.
A partner gives the scene a romantic tone. A friend or parent can make it about loyalty and family. With a pet, use the dedicated option so the intended second character is an animal.
How to make the zombie video
- Add the photos. Choose two portraits or one picture of both of you, then check who is in each role.
- Choose the effect. Zombie Story includes recognition, a hug and a warm memory, without weapons. Zombie shows a gradual transformation followed by a hug.
- Review the settings and cost. Select the available model, duration and format before signing in to render.
- Download your completed clip. Watch it through before posting; a failed render returns the consumed credits.
Choose the right hug scene
Both available effects include an embrace. Zombie Story places the hug between the confrontation and the memory; Zombie moves from a gradual transformation into a hug. Preview the example before deciding, then select the video settings that fit the place you want to share.
The default is a vertical 9:16, 12-second clip for Reels, TikTok and Shorts. You can choose a different supported length and aspect ratio in the studio. Longer clips cost more credits; the quoted cost updates before you generate.
Photo tips
- Use a bright, front-facing portrait. Both eyes should be visible, with no heavy filters or sunglasses.
- Match the face size in both photos. A cropped head-and-shoulders image works better than a distant group shot.
- For one shared photo, put the survivor on the left and the future zombie on the right.
- Ask everyone pictured before uploading or publishing. Review the generated faces before you post.
A caption for your zombie hug
A short line leaves room for the visual story: “I would know you anywhere.” “Still you. Still us.” “Even after the world ends.” Add context that feels true to your relationship, and make clear that the scene is AI-generated.
